I’ve always been an avid reader and as such, I’ve discovered countless wonderful books that I’d like to share with others. I’ve begun assembling lists of my favorites in a variety of genres and creating virtual bookshelves of my selections on the website of the venerable Powell’s bookstore. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Powell’s, it is one of the finest independent bookstores in the country, offering an amazing selection of titles as well as an exceptional subscription club, signed editions, and outstanding customer service. My recommendations for children’s books are housed on the Barefoot Books website. In case you aren’t familiar with them, Barefoot Books is an independent publisher of high quality, award-winning books for children.

Sell Your Books
If you’re a book lover like me, you probably go through books pretty quickly. If you have some books in your collection that you’re willing to part with, consider selling them to Powell’s. Their online system makes selling your books a breeze: just enter the ISBN of each book you wish to sell, click “Sell these books,” and wait just a few short moments to receive their offer. If you like the bid, just send the books to them (they even provide you with a prepaid shipping label) and receive credit to your Powells.com account or payment via PayPal.
