When I came across this site today, I was both saddened and outraged. I’ve been living with an autoimmune disorder for nearly seven years now so obviously the issue of finding new treatments for chronic illnesses is a highly personal one for me, but as the video on the Where are the Cures website so succinctly explains, 1 in 3 Americans lives with a chronic and/or life-threatening disease and these diseases have a $1.3 trillion dollar a year impact on our economy so it really is something that we should all be concerned about.
